What A Sermon!

 

On Sunday February 3, 2008 (my birthday) I heard one of the most memorable sermons ever. The minister asked, “ If you saw the Lord hitchhiking, would you stop and pick him up?” For those souls who would stop, the second question is, “Where would you ask the Lord to sit?” Would you make room in the trunk, the backseat, the passenger seat? Maybe you have a bumper sticker that says ‘God is my co-pilot’. This would help you determine that the Lord would ride shotgun. The minister suggested that a committed Christian should hand the Lord the car keys and ask Him to drive. Who’s driving your car? What direction is your life heading?
